Health Statement 3/14/20

15 Mar 2020 5 comments Julie Casiano

We have always prided ourselves in the cleanliness of our kitchen and we recognize that this is now more important than ever.

Hygiene standards for our team members, our shop environment, and quality of our meals will always be our top priorities.

We are continuing our high standards and are increasing our handwashing and cleaning, including frequently sanitizing our checkout area during our pick up hours in offering hand sanitizer at our cash out counter.

We will not be accepting any containers back to reuse until further notice. Please dispose or reuse them, or recycle them please.

We are committed to taking care of our team and making sure anyone working is a optimal health, as well as members of their family so that we can be sure everyone is safe from passing any unwanted germs or sickness.

Please remember that having a healthy diet and fueling your body with fresh vegetables, fruits, and ingredients play a huge role in staying healthy and keeping your immune system strong. Now is not the time to turn to unhealthy cheap fast meal options.

That is why we plan to not change a thing and continue business as normal, as well as offer some additional meals in our grab-and-go cooler to help out, as a lot of you have children home from school for the next few weeks.

We thank you for supporting our small business.

Stay healthy!

With love- the Meal Prep Team

How To Order

Weekly Menu Postings

Each Tuesday evening at 6:00 pm, we post five new menu items that we will be preparing for Sunday/Monday pickup. You can be alerted when new menus post by joining our Facebook group, signing up for text alerts, or checking our This Week’s Menu page for items available for ordering.

PLEASE NOTE:  We have limited space each week and ordering fills up very quickly.  We close down ordering on Fridays around 9:30 am.  We suggest you set your Facebook to receive alerts from our group or sign up for text alerts so you know when the menu is posted.

Ordering Guidelines

To place your order, simply visit our Current Menu and select what you want us to prepare you for the week. We have a five-meal minimum order. You can mix and match among the menu, order 5 of the same item, or one of each – however you prefer.

Pricing:

  • 5 meals for $50
    • Add $10 per meal up to 9
  • 10 meals for $95
    • We offer a discount (50-cents off every meal) if you order 10 meals or more.

Snacks and Protein Balls are add-ons to your order and do not count toward your 5-meal minimum or 10-meal discount.

Payment

We take Credit Cards, Venmo, PayPal when you place your order, or you can select to pay when you pick up your order. We accept cash, check or credit for pickups at our kitchen. Please pay online if you’re picking up at our Troy, Piqua or McCartyville meetup spots.

On Saturdays and Sundays we prep and cook most of the food. Our goal is to make sure everything as fresh as it can be for you! We use fresh meats, vegetables, fruits and whole ingredients staying away from processed foods as much as possible. Most dressings and sauces are made from scratch. We like to keep meals around or under 300 calories and snacks right around 100 each for your eating pleasure. Many times snacks may include an item that is great for a quick and easy breakfast. Bonus!

If you have dietary requirements, we usually offer menu options that are Gluten Free, Dairy Free, Vegan or Keto-friendly. These should be indicated in the menu description or as an option when you place your order.  If you have any dietary restrictions, please indicate in the comments section when you complete your order.

**Please know we try our best to accommodate these requests, however, they are prepared in an environment where gluten, dairy, nuts, etc. are present.

Storage & Reheating

Most meals that are meant to serve hot can be microwaved in their container for 45 seconds, or reheated in a pan. Containers are dishwasher and microwave safe, and can be reused or returned to us the following week.
